1892 Coachworx NO HIDDEN FEES, COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY

NO HIDDEN FEES, COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY

What is the “out-the-door” price?

Transparency is our priority. All charges are clearly itemized on the Wisconsin Buyer’s Guide. While registration fees vary by municipality, your total cost is calculated using this straightforward formula:

Base Purchase Price + Title Transfer Fee + Registration/License Plate Fees + Sales Tax + Dealer Service Fee.

We handle the Department of Transportation registration for you, saving you a trip to the DMV. Why spend your afternoon waiting in line when you could be out on the road?

What is included in the dealer service fee?

The dealer service fee represents a direct value to you. It covers all necessary documentation, professional form processing, temporary plate issuance, and postage. More importantly, it provides peace of mind: we ensure your paperwork is filed correctly the first time so you never have to make repeat trips to the DMV to fix a filing error.

What is your vehicle reconditioning process?

Many dealerships shroud their process in secrecy—at 1892 Coachworx, we lead with the facts. We are proud of our work and happy to share the history of every unit. We will gladly disclose how we acquired the vehicle, why the previous owner parted with it, and the specific repairs we performed to ensure it is reliable and “lot ready.”

Will the vehicle pass an emissions test?

1892 Coachworx is located in Columbia County, Wisconsin, which does not require emissions testing. While we maintain high mechanical standards, we cannot guarantee that our vehicles will pass emissions tests in other jurisdictions.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. The majority of our vehicles—generally those 19 model years old or newer—include a 3-month / 3,000-mile warranty at no additional cost.

  • Coverage: Your Wisconsin Buyer’s Guide will clearly state if a warranty is included, accompanied by a comprehensive list of covered items.
  • Support: If you have questions, our team will take the time to explain the finer points of your coverage.
  • “As-Is” Units: Vehicles not meeting the warranty criteria are sold “As-Is,” with no warranties expressed or implied. All sales are final.

What if there is an error in a listing?

While we make every effort to ensure our online listings are 100% accurate, rare errors may occur. Availability, pricing, and features must be confirmed with the dealership at the time of sale. The dealership is not responsible for typographical or listing errors.

Who inspects your vehicles?

Our team consists of highly skilled technicians with over 50 years of combined industry experience. Every vehicle undergoes a rigorous inspection process:

  1. Initial Assessment: We use a detailed check-in sheet to document the vehicle’s arrival condition.
  2. 46-Point Inspection: We follow the official Wisconsin Buyer’s Guide standards to ensure all systems are evaluated.
  3. Resolution: Necessary repairs are completed using quality parts. If a component is not repaired, it is fully disclosed.

If you aren’t mechanically inclined, don’t worry. Our owner or technicians will walk you through any disclosure in plain English so you can make an informed decision. Our bottom line: systems are either working as intended, repaired to factory standards, or clearly disclosed as “not working.”
