The name 1892 Coachworx isn’t just a brand—it’s a nod to our home. In 1892, Poynette officially established its post office and became a village. It was a time of growth, community, and the early days of personal transportation.

The “Coachworx” part of our name honors the evolution of the automobile. Long before the modern engines we drive today, cars began as wagons with custom coaches built upon them. We see ourselves as part of that long lineage of craftsmanship, evolving with the times but keeping that old-world commitment to doing things the right way.

Our team provides you with over 50 years of experience in the auto industry with that experience ranging from Manufacturer level service, to independent service centers. From High performance power train, to small engines. We have a staff with ASE certifications, I-Car certifications, and OEM certifications that look over every unit to make sure it fits our business model. Bottom line- if we wouldn’t feel comfortable driving it personally you wont find it on our lot.
